I am a principal investigator at INSERM (CRCN), the French Research Health Institute, since 2019. I am part of the group Cancer Targets and Experimental Therapeutics at the Institute for Advanced Biosciences (IAB, University Grenoble Alpes, U1209 INSERM, CNRS UMR 5309).
I received my PhD in Physics in 2014 for my work on Energy relaxation processes in nanoscintillators supervised by Pr Dujardin, for which I used different approaches from experimental studies to Monte Carlo simulations. After receiving my PhD, I joined Pr Hasan’s lab at Harvard Medical School for a post-doc. There, I gained experience with cell and molecular biology of photodynamic therapy, as well as 3D culture methods. I investigated the combination of photodynamic therapy with radiation therapy and co-developed several imaging-based modalities to facilitate the readouts when working with 3D models. After 3 years in Pr Hasan’s lab, I got awarded a return fellowship from the “Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale” to join the STROBE lab in Grenoble. In 2022, I joined the IAB to establish my independent research program.
In 2019, I got elected member of the board of directors of the International Photodynamic Association, for which I serve as chair for the Communication and Outreach committee.
